Privaira is seeking a highly motivated and experienced aircraft management & charter professional to lead managed aircraft fleet development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the business aviation sector working for either an aircraft management firm, aircraft broker, aircraft manufacturer, charter broker, or combination of. Full Job Description:

The Director of Fleet Development (DFD) will lead Privaira in the planning, promotion, and sale of aircraft management and charter services. The DFD will provide the strategic guidance, technical advice, leadership, and service support necessary to achieve these objectives.

The DFD will be expected to conduct him/herself in a professional and ethical manner at all times working as a valued team member and will be required to integrate his/her sales and marketing objectives with the strategic goals of the Company. The DFD will report to the President & CEO.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participate with management in the establishment of fleet growth and sales and marketing goals
  • Oversee both fleet development, and sales and marketing activities
  • Perform competitive market assessments and analysis
  • Develop, plan, and execute strategic marketing plans and programs
  • Match customer requirements to Company programs
  • Prepare, plan & conduct sales presentations to new and existing customers
  • Prepare & deliver aircraft management budgets & proposals
  • Maintain & improve customer relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Assist clients with special requests (supply information, resolve complaints, etc.)
  • Interact with Finance, and Flight Operations, to maximize safety and optimize fleet utilization
  • Perform by-yearly actual vs. forecast budget reviews with aircraft owners
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of company aircraft and services
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive environment
  • Participate and be active in local industry organizations
  • Present a professional image and practice honesty and integrity at all times
  • Such other duties as assigned by the President & CEO

Accountable for:

  • Achievement of managed fleet growth and sales objectives
  • The successful planning and completion of advertising/marketing programs within budget
  • Brand image, website, marketing and promotional material support necessary to support fleet growth and retention
  • Accuracy, timeliness and consistency in customer communications & quote requests
  • Adherence to company policy and protocol
  • Timely completion of administrative duties

Remuneration:

  • Competitive Base Salary + Plus Bonus
  • Standard company benefits with the option of company paid benefits
  • 40 hours per week with availability after-hours as required
